Unfortunately for those of us with furry best friends we absolutely love, we can’t take our pets everywhere—and we can’t always leave them alone at home to fend for themselves. Looking for a safe, friendly, and engaging environment where your dog can have an absolute blast while you’re at work or traveling out of town? Take him or her to Happy Hounds Homestead here in Tucson, Arizona! We have over 30 years of pet sitting experience and the perfect home away from home for your pet: a two-acre ranch with a spacious, fenced-in yard to play in and a non-smoking indoor environment. We provide:
- Daily exercise
- Potty breaks every two hours
- Oral and injected medication administration
- Experience with senior dogs and special needs dogs
- Socialization with other dogs and the many animals on our property
- A pool for your pup to cool off in on hot days
What to Know Before Booking Your Pet's Stay With Us
Before you contact Happy Hounds Homestead, please be advised that we:
- Accept unspayed female dogs, but any male dogs that stay with us must be neutered
- Only accept crate-trained dogs
- Can host dogs weighing up to 100 pounds
- Will host no more than six dogs at a time
- Watch and board pets in our home—not in a commercial facility
- Have many animals: a donkey, mini horse, tortoises, chickens, cat, and a dog
- Do not allow dogs on the bed, but they are allowed onto our furniture
